Harwood Steiger Hand Painted Fabrics

Upon the urging of their friend, William Morrow, Harwood and Sophie Steiger moved from Alamos, Mexico to Tubac in 1956 and opened a hand printed fabric factory in 1958.
Sophie's niece, Wanda Halbwachs, came to Tubac to help with the business and continued to run the business after they passed on.
From the collection compiled for the book "A Pictorial History of Tubac." which is sold in our Shop.
